2024 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

Northfield Jr/Sr High School has announced their 2024 Valedictorian, Miss Anna Kissel, and Salutatorian, Miss Brihanna Boocher.

Anna Kissel, Valedictorian

Anna Kissel is the daughter of Jason and Amy Kissel. During her years at Northfield, Anna participated in cross country, track and field, tennis, jazz band, theater, student council, and National Honor Society. She is also a member of the St. Paul’s County Line Youth Group and has served as a Student Assistant at the Wabash Carnegie Public Library. Anna plans to attend Indiana University Bloomington in the fall to study English.

Anna stated, “I love being part of a small class where everyone knows each other. I really enjoyed going through senior year with the people I’ve been with since kindergarten!”

Brihanna Boocher, Salutatorian

Brihanna Boocher is the daughter of Scott and Tamara Boocher. This fall, she plans plan to attend The Salon Professional Academy to pursue an Esthetician license while continuing to work at The Red Stiletto salon in Fort Wayne.

During high school, Brihanna was involved in volleyball, student council, National Honor Society, the National Technical Honor Society. She also participated in the Cosmetology program at Heartland Career Center.

Brihanna stated, “I appreciated Northfields connection with Heartland Career Center the most. This gave me the opportunity to pursue a Cosmetology career while still in high school. I was able to become licensed and find a job all before graduation. I think this is great for not only me but for others to be able to have the chance to try different trades and career paths.”
